At Shine Panel Care, we stand behind the quality of our mesh products and installation services. To ensure the longevity and performance of your mesh system, we offer a comprehensive warranty with the following terms and conditions.

Warranty Coverage

Our mesh warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of installation. This includes:

  • Manufacturing defects in the mesh or clips.

  • Installation defects directly attributable to our team.

Please note: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Maintenance Requirements

To keep your warranty valid, it is essential to adhere to our maintenance requirements:

  • Solar Panel Cleaning: Panels must be professionally cleaned and inspected at least once every 24 months. Failure to maintain this schedule will void the warranty.

  • Inspection: A visual inspection of the mesh and clips should be conducted during the cleaning to ensure no damage or wear that could affect performance.

Exclusions

The following are not covered under this warranty:

  • Natural Disasters: Damage resulting from storms, hail, floods, lightning, earthquakes, or any other natural disaster.

  • Accidental Damage: Damage caused by falling debris, animals, or external impacts.

  • Unauthorised Repairs or Modifications: Any repairs, adjustments, or modifications made by parties other than Shine Panel Care will void this warranty.

  • Neglect or Lack of Maintenance: Failing to clean and inspect your panels every 24 months as specified above.

Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us at 0426 645 437 with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

  2. We will arrange an inspection to assess the claim.

  3. If approved, we will repair or replace the mesh at no additional cost.

Additional Terms

  • Warranty Start Date: Begins on the date of installation.

  • Labour Costs: Covered for the first 12 months. After this period, labour costs may apply.

Business: Shine Panel Care
Scope of Work:

  • Solar panel cleaning

  • Bird-proofing (installation of stainless steel mesh)

  • Non-structural roof maintenance (no roof repairs or structural modifications)

🧾 Why We Do Not Require a QBCC Licence

Under Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) guidelines, a contractor does not need a licence if:

  1. The total value of work (labour + materials) is under $3,300.

  2. The work does not involve structural changes to the building.

  3. The work does not include regulated tasks like:

    • Waterproofing

    • Painting

    • Electrical

    • Plumbing

    • Roofing repairs or replacements

Shine Panel Care’s services strictly comply with these exemptions.
